We Are! 2015 Now Available

The last two years, we launched a kickstarter to help fund We Are!, a definitive Penn State football preseason magazine. Last year, we got more ambitious and struck a deal with (what we thought was) a publisher to get physical copies of the magazine into the hands of you, our illustrious reader, as well as bookstores throughout Pennsylvania and the DC metro area.

That didn't work out so well, as it turns out that "publisher" was little more than a shady warehouse that printed the books and sat on them, not fulfilling preorders until, in some instances, after the season started (pretty awesome for a "preseason magazine")--and never stocking them in bookstores. Not to go into a lot of detail, but the editors? We lost a lot of money in the deal, and though we contemplated it, we decided against legal action for a number of reasons.

So this year, in an attempt to not have the same liability, we took a different approach. No kickstarter, and fewer out of pocket expenses. We wrote most of the content ourselves, and in doing so had to scale back a lot of the features--but the position and opponent previews are still as in-depth, and the recruiting coverage is there with the help of Nick Polak and Matt De Bear from this very site.

Today, the fruits of the labor of Jared, Mike Pettigano, Seth Fisher and myself are finally unveiled via the Amazon Kindle Store.
