Penn State Is No. 8 In Week Three College Football Playoff Rankings

As the pieces around them fall, Penn State keeps chugging along - despite a near-upset at the hands of a feisty Indiana squad, PSU won (and covered) and were rewarded with a move up in the rankings.

Last week’s numbers 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 teams (Clemson [now 4], Michigan [steady at 3], Washington [now 6], Texas A&M [now 25], Auburn [now 15]) all lost last week, which facilitated the Nittany Lions’s move up.

Still ahead of the Lions are #2 Ohio State, #3 Michigan, and #7 Wisconsin. Also in the rankings for the Big Ten is Nebraska, at number 18.
