Penn State Football Continues to Rise, Ranked No. 8 in AP and Coaches’ Poll

With just one regular season game remaining, the Nittany Lions are one of four Big Ten teams ranked in the top 10.

Penn State continues to climb up the Associated Press and Coaches’ Poll rankings, as they are ranked eighth in both polls this week.

The Nittany Lions are one of four Big Ten teams ranked in the AP top 10, joining No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Michigan, and No. 5 Wisconsin. This is the first time three Big Ten teams are ranked in the AP top five since November 7th, 1960. The Wolverines are fourth in the Coaches’ poll, while Wisconsin is sixth.

No. 17/15 Nebraska is the only other conference team ranked.

The 9-2 Nittany Lions’ Senior Day matchup with Michigan State will air Saturday at 3:30 on ESPN.
