No Big Ten teams on the slate today, but a good one between Colorado and Oklahoma State awaits.

No Big Ten teams on the slate today, but the nightcap offers an intriguing game between two teams were one game away from winning their respective conferences in Colorado and Oklahoma State. The first two games figure to be somewhat of a bore, but if this bowl season has taught us anything, it’s to not count out the underdog. Underdogs have covered the closing spread 18 times so far in this bowl season, with ten teams winning the games outright.

So throw conventional wisdom out the window, and watch as South Carolina suddenly finds an offense to keep up with South Florida, while Arkansas and Virginia tech engage in a shootout of their own. And, of course, the total between Colorado and Oklahoma State will be less than 30, because bowl season.

Here’s your bowl schedule for the day:

-

Belk Bowl: Arkansas vs Virginia Tech

-

Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma State vs Colorado
