YAY HOOPS: Penn State vs. Nebraska Open Thread

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

The Penn State Nittany Lions men's basketball team faces off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers for the second time this season tonight at 7 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. The broadcast is on ESPNU. Penn State kept things close in the first half in Lincoln 12 days ago, but got annihilated in the second half. Chad previewed the game earlier today, and you can check that out here.

Andrew White scored 35 points last time, while Shavon Shields did not play due to a concussion. We hope neither of those things happen tonight, and it appears that Shields will likely play, albeit in a limited role. Last time out, Brandon Taylor got in foul trouble, Shep Garner struggled shooting, Josh Reaves was still hampered by mono, and Donovon Jack had yet to become Sasa Borovnjak. It will hopefully be a different game this time around.

Let's go State.
