Penn State Announces Kickoff Time For the 2016 Spring Game

The annual Blue-White scrimmage will kickoff at 2:00 on April 16th.

Penn State's spring practice is still about one month away from getting underway, but the Blue-White game has a start time. Penn State announced today that the annual scrimmage to end spring practice will get underway at Beaver Stadium at 2:00 on April 16th.

Plenty of intrigue will surround this year's game, with most eyes focused on what figures to be a three man race to start at quarterback this fall. Trace McSorley, Tommy Stevens, and Jake Zembiec will all be competing to take that first snap in September versus Kent State.

In addition to the quarterback race, Penn State fans will get their first look at a number of talented redshirt freshmen such as receivers Juwan Johnson and Irvin Charles, offensive linemen Ryan Bates and Steven Gonzalez, running back Andre Robinson, safety Ayron Monroe, and defensive linemen Shareef Miller and Ryan Bucholz.

There is one brief programming note with this year's game. If you want to watch Penn State football's biggest event of the spring semester live, you won't be able to watch on BTN or an ESPN channel. Instead, you will need to watch on the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com.
