Penn State came out on fire in Session One, finishing 8-1 in their 9 opening fights while posting 6 bonus point victories. Un-seeded Lions Jimmy Gulibon (vs #5 Manley) and Geno Morelli (vs. #11 Staudenmayer) both pulled big upsets, while BSD favorite Mouse took the only loss (a 3-4 decision to DuBois' Tom Sleigh, now wrestling for Bucknell).

WHAT HAPPENS IN SESSION TWO
If you lost your opening fight from Session One, then you're now in the Consolation bracket of this double elimination tournament. In other words, you're in a win-or-die situation. It can get bloody down there.
And on this evening's slate we're starting with the first round of consolations, then Round 2 of the winners' bracket, followed by Round 2 of the consolations. By the time this Session Two is finished (around 11pmET-ish), 170 of the 330 wrestlers who started at Noon will have been beaten out of the tournament - more than half the field, gone. Brutal.

Then we're back into the championships, round 2. Five Nittany Lions will be favored - Nico, Zain, Nolf, Nickal, and Morg. Three - Jordan, Jimmy, and Geno - will be underdogs.
