Brandon Taylor Named Third Team All-Big Ten by Media, Honorable Mention by Coaches

The senior forward is top ten in the conference in scoring and rebounding.

Penn State senior forward Brandon Taylor was named a third team All-Big Ten selection by conference media members and an honorable mention by the conference's coaches Monday.

Taylor leads the Nittany Lions in scoring and rebounding this season, averaging 16.3 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game. These averages put him at eighth and tenth in the conference, respectively. It's been an impressive campaign for Taylor in his final season at Penn State, as he added a post game and earned a leadership role with this team. His transformation into an inside scoring threat allowed the Nittany Lions to build an offense around him in a year where scoring was a question mark.

The last Penn State player to be named to an all-Big Ten team was D.J. Newbill at the end of last season, when he was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team by both media and coaches.

Congratulations to Brandon.
