Another kickoff time has surfaced, this time it's the much anticipated matchup with rival Pitt. The game will kick off at noon on September 10, on a yet to be announced network.
Pitt, in its second year under coach Pat Narduzzi, is looking to build upon relatively successful first season, finishing 8-5. They look to return one of its best players in James Conner, who battled through both an MCL injury and Hodgkin lymphoma. It's doubtful he'd return by the time this game takes place, but this is a wonderful comeback story nonetheless, and we wish Conner the best in his recovery.
Pitt is one of Penn State's oldest opponents, and perhaps their biggest rival. The Nittany Lions hold a 50-42-4 edge on the Panthers, and will be looking to extend that lead starting on September 10, at noon.
Stay tuned for more scheduling updates.
