Urban Meyer's Ohio State Buckeyes return to Beaver Stadium in October for the first time since the double overtime thriller in 2014. The latest installment of this rivalry will again kickoff under the lights. ESPN announced today that the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes will get things underway at 8:00 in Happy Valley. Penn State previously announced the game against Ohio State as the annual White Out. According to Penn State's release on the game, this will be the 17th consecutive year the Lions have played in a prime time game.
This is the first of Penn State's 2016 games to have a kickoff time announced, although Iowa beat writer Marc Morehouse tweeted last week that the Hawkeye's visit to PSU is also expected to be a prime time affair.
The Penn State game will be Ohio State's second straight night game, and second straight away from Columbus, as the Buckeyes face Wisconsin in Camp Randall Stadium the previous week.
