Only Tyler Shoop Until Penn State Football

Though former defensive coordinator Bob Shoop moved on from Penn State to Tennessee earlier this year, his son Tyler Shoop remains committed to the Nittany Lions.

Shoop is a sophomore wide receiver who redshirted his first year with Penn State after walking on in February 2015. Though Shoop has no star ratings from any recruiting websites, his highlight package showcases a receiver with good hands and a solid ability to shake off defenders for extra yardage.

It remains to be seen if Shoop can break through and see significant playing time, but his abilities give offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead even more options at the wide receiver level.
