Paris Palmer immediately found himself in the starting lineup after entering Penn State as the top JUCO offensive line prospect heading into the 2015 season. Throughout the course of the season, Palmer played both tackle positions while Andrew Nelson made his way through a season filled with nagging injuries that kept him on the sideline for stretches of time.
Palmer was initially committed to South Carolina, but the pull of Happy Valley was too much and he jumped at the offer to become a Nittany Lion. It's been well-documented that Palmer has been hitting the weight room hard throughout the offseason, vastly improving his strength from a season ago that saw the offensive line struggle mightily. With several up-and-coming linemen entering their first year of eligibility, Palmer will need to prove he belongs to lock down his starting spot and lead a turnaround for the offensive line in 2016.
Just 73 more days until it's time for some Penn State football!!
