Only Kevin Reihner Until Penn State Football

We are getting closer to football. Just 68 more days.

NCAA Football: Stanford at Arizona State Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Reihner joined Penn State as a graduate-transfer in May of 2015. It was originally speculated that he would help bolster the front line that struggled the previous season. While Reihner turned out to be a solid addition to the team, seeing the field in 13 games, most of his time was spent on special teams.

After playing four years for Stanford, in which he only played in ten games, the Scranton Prep product decided to come back home with a management science and engineering degree in hand. His father George played offensive and defensive tackle in the mid-1970’s at Penn State, and his uncle John was the kicker for the Lions in that same era.

Reihner began working on a master’s degree in educational leadership last year at Penn State and plans to join the coaching ranks soon after he completes his education.
