Andre Collins, like most professional athletes, was a bit aimless once he finished his football career before finding a new direction in an emergency room job. Now, he helps other former-NFL players figure out what to do with their lives once football ends. Earlier this millennium, the NFL Player’s Association had the realization it should begin focusing on more than just current conditions of the players and Collins proved to be an ideal fit for their new venture.

Six Million Dollar Statue: We may not get the original back, but the sculptors are intent on instead making a better Joe Paterno statue, they have the technology. Regardless of your stance on the statue, you can probably agree the original could have used some work, to that end the sculptors will give it a better pose and older appearance. They currently have a Kickstarter set up to get it cast in bronze with a goal to have it ready for the first game of the season.
Going Camping: NFL training camps open this week and GoPSUSports has the complete list of former-Nittany Lions participating. There are thirty-seven players split between twenty-three teams, led by the Jacksonville Jaguars with four. Additionally, there are six former-Penn Staters on NFL coaching staffs.
