Penn State Commit Leaves Paramus Catholic Amid Suspension
After being suspended by Paramus Catholic for a fight with teammates, Dorian Hardy has left the school, according to a report by NJ.com. In the article, Hardy’s father claims that his son was actually breaking up the fight, and ended up being punched by a coach.
Charles Hardy’s account of the altercation differs from the narrative described by Paramus police. The physical altercation began around 5:24 p.m. when a player believed to be Dorian Hardy started to pull on another player’s jersey, records say. A teacher intervened in the hallway and broke up the fight, but it continued outside, prompting two other players and Mitchell to join in, the report said.
...
Both Strickland and Charles Hardy were critical of the Paramus Catholic coaching staff and Sabella. Charles Hardy said the head coach has not defended his son or Clark to school officials and is placing their future football careers in jeopardy.
“It’s a travesty that Coach Sabella didn’t stand behind his players,” Charles Hardy said. “I feel as though he threw his players under the bus. Most coaches stand by their players. They want the best for these young men. You don’t do that by throwing them under the bus. These kids have potential scholarships at risk now.”
It remains to be seen whether Hardy remains a member of the 2018 class, but you can be sure that the Penn State staff is keeping a close eye on the situation.
Ohio Five-Star In For The Michigan Game
Penn State’s primetime matchup with Michigan is shaping up to be the biggest game at Beaver Stadium in sometime, so it’s no surprise that recruits will be flocking to Happy Valley to take in the atmosphere. One of those recruits in attendance will be 2019 five-star defensive end Zach Harrison, first reported by Lions247.
Harrison, to put it simply, is a freak. At 6-foot-6, 240 pounds, he’s the No. 4 overall player in the country for 2019, and would thrive at either defensive end or tight end. He’s visited Penn State before, as he was in town for the Lasch Bash back in July, but it’s a good sign to get him back on campus for a game. As always for Ohio products, the Buckeyes will be tough to beat. But as the Nittany Lions have shown with Tyreke Smith (who will also be in attendance), don’t count out James Franklin and Co. on the recruiting trail.
Michigan Offers Jayson Oweh
While Penn State, Ohio State, and Notre Dame offered Oweh six months ago, Jim Harbaugh finally decided to join the party in offering the New Jersey four-star earlier this week.

Truth be told, Michigan is actually a really great fit for what Oweh is looking for when it comes to big time football and world class academics. Unfortunately for the Wolverines, they probably waited too long to get into it with Oweh. We’ll see if this changes anything, but this one should still come down to Penn State or Ohio State.
PA DT Lands Numerous Offers
This one isn’t all that related to Penn State, but Philadelphia defensive tackle Christian Barmore is having quite the senior season. The former Temple commit has blown up in recent weeks, landing offers from Alabama, Florida, LSU, Miami, and Georgia.

With spots being so tight I don’t know if Penn State offers, but he certainly a prospect worth keeping an eye on.
