We’ve reached the midpoint in the season, meaning news outlets are releasing their lists for midseason All-Americans and one Penn State player, in particular, continues to find his way onto those lists.
Saquon Barkley was named to the Sporting News Midseason All-America list, making his second appearance on such a list after gracing ESPN’s as well.
Sporting News called Barkley the “best all-around player in the college football” and who are we to argue?
Barkley has tallied 649 rushing yards and six touchdowns to go along with 395 receiving yards and one miraculous kick return against Indiana. Something tells us Barkley won’t be abdicating his spot on these lists come the end of the season.
