The Nittany Lions will open the season with two exhibition games this season. As of today, they’re playing Bloomsburg on Sunday, November 5th, and will now play The Lafayette Leopards on Saturday, November 4th in an NCAA-approved exhibition game to raise funds for hurricane relief.

According to the GoPSUSports release, Penn State and Lafayette partnered with the One America organization, which initially raised efforts for hurricane Harvey relief, but has now been expanded to hurricane Irma and Maria as well.

The game will be played at the Kirby Center in Lafayette’s campus, and tipoff will be at 1 PM. Pat Chambers had this to say of the event:

We are honored to have the opportunity to partner with Lafayette and bring Penn State basketball to the Lehigh Valley area for this worthy cause. If we are able to assist those affected by these disasters by playing the game we love, it’s a win across the board.
