Sights and Sounds From The ESPN GameDay Experience

It was a very exciting morning on the Penn State campus.

Here is a panoramic view of the crowd on Old Main Lawn during the broadcast. It was a very beautiful day in State College, and everyone in attendance seemed to be having a great time.

The Penn State cheerleaders were on hand to keep the crowd going as well.

The Blue Band was in full effect and keeping the fans entertained during commercial timeouts. Here’s a nice number, complete with dancing.

The fans weren’t the only ones enjoying the atmosphere. During commercial break Herbstreit and company were dancing to the Penn State music. For some reason Desmond Howard did not seem interested.

With all of the responsibilities that a coach in James Franklin’s position has, it is nice to see that he is also a high-achiever with his family as well. Here he is chatting it up with his very excited daughters behind the set of the GameDay broadcast.

Here’s a shot from behind the scenes as coach Franklin, his wife and daughters, all deliver the goods to the GameDay crew. Let’s hope a solid, rib-sticking meal isn’t the only thing that Franklin delivers today. The fans would like a win versus Michigan to feast on later tonight.

On the way out coach Franklin and his family took several minutes to greet fans. Franklin was very generous with his time today when you consider what a huge game awaits he and his coaching staff in just a few hours.
