Note:

All of the above rankings are taken directly from the NCAA except for strength of schedule, which is not ranked by the NCAA and instead taken from Team Rankings; it will be taken from S&P+ when that site has them up (after week 7).

The Redzone TD% and Redzone TD% Defense are calculated by me and not ranked by the NCAA. Determining who has the advantage in these categories is strictly my arbitrary judgment.

Quick thoughts:

Not too many surprises here. There’s fewer Chipmunk logos than last week, as the year’s stats are starting to even out and regress to the mean. Penn State is still dominating the logo ratio, though.

Areas of concern? To no one’s surprise, it’s tackles for loss. On the positive side, the Penn State defense should have a good day on the ground, despite how impressive Justin Jackson is, and Clayton Thorson will face arguably his toughest test this week against Marcus Allen, Grant Haley and co. This should be a fun matchup - early starttime bedamned.

What say you all?
