Tommy Touchdowns Does It Again

After a somewhat slow start by the offense, the backup quarterback gets the first score of the day.

Early on against Northwestern, Penn State’s defense has controlled the game, forcing two turnovers. Meanwhile, the offense has had trouble converting great field position-that is, until the first touchdown drive of the day. After Trace McSorley found Brandon Polk on back-to-back completions to set them up with a goal-to-go situation, McSorley found a wide-open Tommy Stevens on second and goal from the nine. Stevens beat his man, and made a sliding grab in the end zone.
