Penn State’s final home game of the 2017 season is set for a 4 p.m. kickoff against Nebraska on Nov. 18. The game will mark Penn State’s Senior Day, when they honor many notable players who helped keep the program afloat while dealing with sanctions, while also winning the Big Ten crown in 2016.

This will be the first time Penn State and Nebraska have faced off since 2013, when the Cornhuskers escaped with a 23-20 overtime win in Beaver Stadium. Penn State has yet to beat Nebraska since the Cornhuskers joined the Big Ten in 2011. Nebraska is 3-0 against the Nittany Lions as a Big Ten member, and lead the all-time series 9-7.

Penn State currently stands at 8-2 after a 35-6 pounding of Rutgers on Saturday. Nebraska fell to 4-6 after being shellacked 54-21 at Minnesota. Nebraska still has a chance to become bowl eligible, but must pull off upsets against Penn State and Iowa in the final two weeks of the season. Penn State has its sights on a 10-win season and a New Year’s Six bowl game if they can finish the game on a three-game win streak against Rutgers, Nebraska and Maryland.

The game will be aired on FS1.
