While it wasn’t always the prettiest display, the top-ranked Nittany Lion wrestling team claimed yet another comfortable victory on Sunday in Rec Hall.

Penn State dispatched on in-state foe Bucknell, 36-6, winning eight of ten matches.

The dual started with Devin Schnupp again at 125. Schnupp again looked undersized and struggled to finish takedowns in a 3-1 loss.

Graduate transfer Corey Keener was solid in his second match as a Nittany Lions, building nearly four minutes of riding time en route to a 12-4 win over David Campbell.

Jered Cortez struggled a bit up at 141, but still picked up a 10-4 decision over Matt Kolonia.

Zain Retherford and Jason Nolf both continued to assert their dominance. Retherford picked up a win by fall at the 4:14 mark, while Nolf did him one better and picked up the fall in 3:33.

Vincenzo Joseph showed off his ever growing arsenal of offense on the way to a 23-8 technical fall.

Mark Hall matched his performance with a tech fall of his own, topping Nick Stephani 21-6 in 6:50.

Bo Nickal was held to a 16-6 major decision by Bucknell’s Drew Phipps, who looked disinterested for much of the match.

At 197, Bucknell’s Garrett Hoffman used a strong ride and counter shots to pull off an 11-8 victory over Anthony Cassar.

Finally, Nick Nevills nearly turned Erik Chakonis twice to no avail but picked up a comfortable 11-4 win
