As expected, a lot of changes this week. Everyone except for ESPN’s Bonagura now believes that the Nittany Lions will be headed to Florida to play in a New Year’s Day bowl game. (As a side note, it’s somewhat funny that a New Year’s Day game is now considered a demotion by some in the CFP era.).

The Citrus Bowl is the most common destination, with Auburn as the most common opponent, but the Tigers still have games against both Alabama and Georgia. Khalil Tate and Arizona would certainly be an interesting foe in the Holiday Bowl, especially given Tate’s running ability.

Record in Holiday Bowl: 1-0 (A victory over Ty Detmer and BYU)

Record in Citrus Bowl: 2-3 (Wins over LSU and Tennessee, losses against Auburn, Florida, and Clemson)

Record in Outback Bowl: 3-1 (A win against Tennessee and two victories over Kentucky, and a loss against Florida)
