According to local radio personality Ben Love, Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry is expected to be named the new head coach of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns.

Pry, who has spent the last two years as the Nittany Lions defensive coordinator after taking over for Bob Shoops, previously spent five years as the defensive coordinator at ULL between 2002-2006.
However, Sports Illustrated’s Bruce Feldman is reporting that Pry may not choose to accept the job at ULL, given a school’s financial constraints.

Where as the departure of Joe Moorhead this offseason was expected by many, this move would come as a bit of surprise and leave Penn State in a tight spot with the early signing period opening on Dec. 20 and no obvious replacement in the wings.
Should the Nittany Lions stay in house, Sean Spencer and Tim Banks are names to watch.
Update 11/15: After a day plus of terror, Pry announced he is staying at PSU. whew.
