Former Penn State offensive lineman Adam Gress passed away, following an accident on Thursday as reported by Mark Brennan of L247.

Gress committed to Penn State in July 2008, joining the likes of John Urschel and Gerald Hodges as part of the 2009 class. Gress battled some injuries during his time at Penn State, but eventually worked his way to becoming the starter at right tackle for the 2013 season. Gress played briefly for the New York Giants ahead of the 2014 season.

Gress was just 26 years old at the time of his death and was engaged to be married this summer. Please keep Adam and his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
