The Nittany Lions finish in the Top 10 of the Final CFP rankings and will soon find out which New Years’ Six Bowl game they will play in.

Unless you just stepped out of your eco-village, you’ve known for the past hour and a half who the Top 6 teams in the College Football Playoff rankings are. Since Penn State wasn’t amongst those Top 6 however, we had to wait a bit to see where they stood amongst the rest of the Top 25 teams that were just announced by the CFP committee.

Sitting at No. 9 behind 7th-ranked Auburn, 8th-ranked USC, and ahead of 10th-ranked Miami, the Lions will know within the next hour which of the New Year’s Six Bowls (the vast majority of bowl projections peg PSU to the Cotton Bowl) they will be playing in, and who their opponent will be.
