Suriano has missed the last four weeks with an ankle injury sustained against Oklahoma State in the final dual season. He was forced to default out of the Big Ten tournament with the injury but still received the 3-seed for NCAAs.
Now it appears Penn State will need a sterling performance to take home its sixth national title in seven years with Suriano unable to provide team points.
