After what's been a bit of a long-drawn-out saga, 3-star Offensive Lineman Chris Bleich announced today via his personal twitter account.
— Chris Bleich (@Bleich72) April 21, 2017
Speculation had been rampant in recent months around Bleich, a Wyoming Valley West High School product, who after committing on Apr. 7 of last year has since visited a number of schools.
With Penn State ramping up its recruitment of offensive linemen recently, it seemed like a split between the two was only a matter of time. You can now expect Penn State to turn its attention to a group of linemen including Nana Asiedu, Rashad Wheeler, Bryce Effner, Blake Zubovic and a handful of others.
Despite the decommitment, Penn State still sits in second in 247Sports 2018 Team Recruiting Rankings with 11 commits and an average rating of 92.91.
