After spending most of his time last year on special teams, Juwan Johnson is firmly in the running to take over Chris Godwin’s vacant starting spot amongst the receiving corps. His height (6’4”), athleticism, bulking up in the weight room, stepping up in spring practice, and the benefit of observing Godwin work his catching magic over the last couple of seasons could finally pay dividends for Juwan. That’s why it’s no surprise that Eli wrote a separate post last week regarding why he’s a potential breakout player in 2017.
In the meantime, let us celebrate the fact that only 84 days remain until Penn State kicks off the 2017 season against Akron by watching Juwan’s best highlight yet.
