Redshirt junior offensive lineman Charlie Shuman has yet to see any action on the football field since arriving in Happy Valley, but that’s not to say he hasn’t had a memorable experience being with the Nittany Lions so far.
Shuman was a first team all-state selection and team captain coming out of Pittsford, NY, and originally committed to Old Dominion in July 2013 before deciding to become a preferred walk-on at Penn State in December 2013. Although he hasn’t seen game action on the football field, Shuman represented the football team as a dancer for THON 2017. The Centre Daily Times has a story on his experiences dancing, and why he chose to participate. Way to go, Charlie!
79 days, folks.
