Only Eric Shrive Until Penn State Football

We’re only 75 days away from cheering on Penn State against the Akron Zips!

Navy v Penn State

Just like that, our countdown stands at 75. Before you know it the countdown will be at 50, then 25, and then you’ll be sitting down for the start of the Penn State-Akron game with a cold beer in your hand and warm fuzzies in your heart as you cheer on the Nittany Lions.

Eric Shrive entered Penn State as the most heralded player of his class in the Big Ten. While his career never panned out on the field, Shrive became one of the team’s most respected players and foremost leaders during his time at Penn State. Shrive regularly made it clear how much he loved being a Penn Stater, even if his football career didn’t go exactly as planned. Despite the ability to move on to another program before the start of the 2012 season where he could vie for more playing time, Shrive remained to help the program remain steady in a time of great upheaval. Shrive was extremely committed to his role in the community, and was elected as Penn State’s chapter of Uplifting Athletes, which organized the annual Lift for Life to raise money for the awareness of rare diseases.

Only 75 more days, ladies and gentlemen!
