Major League Lacrosse: Penn State men’s lacrosse had two alumni drafted in the MLL Draft over the Memorial Day weekend. Nick Aponte was selected by the Chesapeake Bayhawks 30th overall and Matt Florence was chosen 72nd overall by the Denver Outlaws.

Incoming Freshman To NHL Combine: Speaking of drafts, Evan Barratt will be among the 103 prospects participating in the NHL Combine this week, with the NHL Draft occurring later this month in Chicago. The US U-18 National Team member is expected to be in the top 60 picks.

Summer Baseball Leagues: Ten Penn State baseball players with be joining teams for their summer leagues. Taylor Lehman, Willie Burger, and Justin Hagenman are going to the Cape Cod League. Logan Goodnight, Mason Nadeau, Ryan Sloniger will be playing in the Cal Ripken Collegiate League. Austin Riggins is participating in the Coastal Plains League. Jordan Bowersox and Conlin Hughes will be competing in the Florida Collegiate Summer League. Lastly, Braxton Giavedoni is entering the Great Lakes Collegiate Summer League.
