Defensive tackle Robert Windsor was a last-minute edition to the 2015 Penn State Recruiting class, committing on January 25 before signing his LOI in February. He redshirted his first season before becoming an integral part of the two-deep in his redshirt freshman campaign.
The Wisconsin big man played in every game (starting against Purdue) and ate up blocks as a three-tech alongside fellow DTs Parker Cothren, Curtis Cothran, and Kevin Givens. He’s poised to break out this season as the entire middle of the defensive line two-deep returns, and looks to build on his All-B1G freshman honorable mention season that saw him log 23 tackles (10 solo) and one sack.
