Watch List Season Begins With Four Penn Staters

You get named to a watch list, and you get named to a watch list, and you, you, you all get named to watch lists!

That’s right, it’s watch list season, which means Penn State players are bound to pop up as names to watch for college football awards this season.

We start with the Maxwell award where Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley both make the cut, joining about 100 of their best friends.

On the defensive side of the ball, both Jason Cabinda and Marcus Allen were named to the list for the Bednarik Award, given to the nation’s top defensive player.

As the week goes on, we can expect to see these players and more on additional watch lists that make their way out.
