Only Steven Gonzalez Until Penn State Football

We’re 57 days until the Penn State Nittany Lions kick off the 2017 season against the Akron Zips, and redshirt sophomore offensive guard Steven Gonzalez is our man of the hour!

You’ll recognize a pattern here - the Union City High School product is yet another highly touted prospect recruited on the offensive line by James Franklin and his coaching staff. Gonzo, known for his rough and tumble attitude on the line, redshirted as a freshman in 2015 before breaking through under Matt Limegrover’s tutelage. Last season, Gonzalez made 11 appearances and started 3 games. This year, he looks to continue assisting Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley pile up yards and points en route to another Big Ten Title.
