The Big Ten announced its football schedules for the 2020 and 2021 seasons, and there is plenty of intrigue for Nittany Lions fans.
Perhaps the most notable item is an early season clash with the Wisconsin Badgers on Sept. 4, 2021 in Madison —an early season date that is typically filled with a MAC opponent. Also of note is a late season showdown with Ohio State on Nov. 20, 2021 in Columbus. This means that Ohio State will finish its season with games against Penn State and Michigan in the final two weeks of the season.
With no true Big Ten rival, Penn State will finish its regular season with games against Rutgers in 2020 (away) and 2021 (home).
Previously announced non-conference games include Virginia Tech and Ball State in 2020 and Auburn in 2021.
