After a blowout win over Akron in Week 1, a Florida State loss and an unconvincing performance from USC, Penn State has moved up to No. 4 in this week’s AP Top 25.
The Nittany Lions moved up from No. 6 to begin the season and their current ranking in the highest since Nov. 2, 2008.
Penn State finds itself behind Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson and will look to improve upon that ranking this Saturday as it hosts Pitt at 3:30 at Beaver Stadium.
