Earlier today, the Big Ten finalized most of its non-conference and all of its conference game and TV times. Penn State will open its regular season on Friday, November 10th at home against the Campbell Fighting Camels (yes, that is their actual mascot) on BTN Plus, which is BTN’s online subscription-based service. The Lions will appear on BTN Plus as well for games against Fairleigh Dickinson (Nov. 12), Columbia (Nov. 17), Oral Roberts (Nov. 24), Binghamton (Dec. 19), and Coppin State (Dec. 30).
The Lions will open their Big Ten slate on Saturday, December 2nd at Iowa at 5:00 PM ET (BTN), which could make for quite the sports night for PSU fans, should the football team repeat as East Division champs and find themselves back in Indianapolis for the conference championship game, which would kick off at 8:00 PM ET that same night. The Iowa game will be one of two early December conference matchups for PSU (the other being at home against Wisconsin on Dec. 4) due to the Big Ten Tournament being bumped up by one week as a result of it being held in New York’s Madison Square Garden this season.
The full PSU hoops schedule can be seen on the official athletics website. It should be noted that game and TV times for the two games in the Legends Classic (Nov. 20-21), the Big Ten/ACC Challenge matchup with NC State (Nov. 29), and the game at George Mason (Dec. 17) have yet to be decided upon.
