Like wrestling? (YEAH!)

Gonna be in Cleveland for the 2018 NCAA Wrestling Tournament (YEAH!)

Well, then we here at Black Shoe Diaries in conjunction with the Lions247 Matcast, The Inside Trip podcast, and the Bloodround Podcast have got just the thing for you.

We have banded together to bring to you, our favorite college wrestling fans, a live podcast extravaganza!

The event will take place on Friday, Mar. 16 from 4-6 p.m. at 2nd and High Social House just steps from Quicken Loans Arena. The time falls between the third and fourth sessions of wrestling, or between the Quarterfinals and the “Bloodround”, if you will and will be hosted by Clay Sauertieg (THAT’S ME!) and Garrett Carr, Ben Watson and Brandon Olinger of The Inside Trip, and Kevin Claunch of Bloodround.

Also joining us with be U.S. Women’s National Team wrestler Julia Salata as well as some other surprise guests. So, how much do tickets for something like this run? Well, they’re free!

There’s no cost to attend the event, but if can (and should) register at the EventBrite page listed below so that we can give 2nd and High an indication of how many people will be attending. There is limited space so, please, be sure to register!

As we near the event, we will give out more details as to who other guests may be, giveaway items, and drink specials. So if you’re going to be in Cleveland, come join us, drink some brews, eat some awesome food and shoot the sh*t about college wrestling!

After some puzzling technical difficulties, the podcast is now available again on iTunes and can be found using a simple search term of “Lions247.”

So, without further adieu, this week’s podcast discusses:

  • What’s the deal with Corey Keener?
  • Nick Lee the surefire starter at 141?
  • Holy heck, Shakur Rasheed is a pinning machine
  • Where did that Nick Nevills come from?
