Next week, the Penn State Nittany Lions will travel to Ann Arbor to take on (most likely) a top-5 Michigan team. On Monday afternoon, we learned the kickoff time for the showdown between the two Big Ten East foes.

Kickoff is now set for 3:45 pm according to Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press. The game will air on ESPN. It will be the Nittany Lions first trip to Ann Arbor since 2016 when they lost 49-10 to the Wolverines.

If Penn State is able to take care of business on Saturday against No.18 Iowa, it will likely set up a top-15 matchup as the Nittany Lions sit at No.17 in the latest AP Poll. Michigan is on bye this week, giving them an extra week to prepare. Michigan is currently ranked at No.5 after beating Michigan State 21-7.

Michigan holds a 13-8 lead in the series and has won three of the last four match-ups. Last season, the Nittany Lions finally picked up their first victory against Michigan since 2013 and returned the favor for the beating they received in 2016 with a 42-13 victory in front of a White Out crowd. When visiting Michigan, Penn State owns a 3-6 record with their last win at The Big House coming in 2009.
