After picking up a 30-24 win over the 18th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday night, the Penn State Nittany Lions are moving on up in the AP rankings as they jumped to the No. 14 spot in this week’s AP poll. Three spots higher than last week’s No. 17 ranking.

The Nittany Lions are one of four Big Ten teams in the rankings joining the No. 5 Michigan, No. 8 Ohio State, and No. 19 Iowa. The Wisconsin Badgers dropped out of the rankings for the first time since 2016, snapping their 40-week streak of appearing in the AP Poll. The Badgers come to Happy Valley on November 10.

In this week’s coaches poll, the Nittany Lions moved up to 13th in the country, three spots up from their No. 16 ranking a week ago.

The Nittany Lions take on the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday at 3:45 ET in Ann Arbor.
