Depth Chart Week Six: Michigan State

One big return and other tweaks.

NCAA Football: Ohio State at Penn State James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

The biggest news this week is Shane Simmons is back, not starting, but he should start rotating in until he is back at full speed. Jonathan Holland also dropped to the third tight end spot sharing an OR with Danny Dalton. KJ Hamler appears good to go after getting knocked out against Ohio State. Dez Holmes moves to backing up right guard from backing up left tackle. Rasheed Walker is no longer listed on the depth chart in the wake of his legal trouble. The C.J. Thorpe experiment is continuing at least a little longer at defensive tackle. There are some smaller shifts within the same position swapping slots and Antonio Shelton is serving a targeting suspension for the first half against Michigan State.
