Last time PSU played at Rutgers, Tommy saw the endzone. What’re the odds that happens again this week?

Note:

All of the above rankings are taken directly from the NCAA except for strength of schedule, which is not ranked by the NCAA and instead taken from S&P+.

The Redzone TD% and Redzone TD% Defense are calculated by me and not ranked by the NCAA. Determining who has the advantage in these categories is strictly my arbitrary judgment.

Quick thoughts:

Last year, I said that Rutgers wasn’t horrible. This year, though they have the same number of logos as last...I can’t say the same. The number of categories in which they are last or near to last in the NCAA has increased, and really the only reason they’re passing defense is that decent is because teams don’t need to pass against them - they can run all over Rutgera instead.

Just about the only thing that the Scarlet Knights are legitimately good at this year is punting (and defending after punting) - is that because they’ve gotten so much practice this season?

What are your thoughts?
