Just like that, Penn State’s 2018 regular season is complete. It seems that every year we spend several months that feel like an eternity waiting for the season to begin. Then after finally reaching week one, the regular season concludes in the blink of an eye.

There will be no conference championship game for Penn State this season, meaning they now see how things play out on Saturday as they sit and wait to learn a bowl destination.

What is the most ideal bowl and opponent for Penn State in your mind?

As things currently stand, many have Penn State in the Citrus Bowl to face off against Kentucky. However, that is with the assumption that no Big Ten team makes the playoffs, with the field of four as Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Oklahoma. There is also the possibility of Penn State making a NY6 Bowl, considering the Nittany Lions currently sit at #12 in the eyes of the Playoff Committee and would bring a large contingent of fans to any bowl destination.

So what say you, BSD reader? Do you have a specific bowl in mind that you are pulling for? How about a specific opponent? Do you prefer to face the best team possible or a more winnable game to build momentum heading into 2019? Is your bowl preference based on location, prestige of bowl or other factors? Or are you just indifferent since it won’t be a playoff appearance?
