Welp.
We really don’t need to get into the hows and the whys Penn State’s new ranking in the latest AP Poll, but it ain’t good.
The Nittany Lions dropped seven spots from No. 14 to No. 21 in this week’s poll.
Penn State is one of five Big Ten teams in the poll, behind Michigan (4) and Ohio State (8), and ahead of Iowa (23) and Michigan State (24).
Saturday’s opponent, Wisconsin, finds itself just on the outside looking in among others receiving votes.
In the USA Today Coaches Poll, Penn State found itself at No. 20, joined by Michigan (4), Ohio State (7) and Iowa (25).
Onward and upward.
