YAY HOOPS: Penn State at Maryland Open Thread/Pseudo-Preview

We apologize for the lack of a Maryland preview, due to some technical difficulties. Really though, the important things to know about the 6-1 Terps, is that they are ranked 24th and forward Bruno Fernando is their best player, averaging nearly a double-double per game (15.9 points and 9.6 rebounds). Expect to see him and Mike Watkins battle each other in the paint throughout the ball game (even though John Harrar will be getting the start once again).

Since Maryland remains ranked, this will be a chance for PSU to earn back-to-back wins over ranked teams since January 2011 when they took down Michigan State and Illinois.

Tip-off is at 5:00 PM ET on BTN, and as always, the typical open thread rules apply: No porn, no politics/religion, no links to illegal streams of the game, and just be kind to one another, mmkay?
