Add one more open scholarship to your 2019 count for Penn State football.
Redshirt freshman linebacker Brelin Faison-Walden announced via twitter on Sunday that he intends to transfer and continue his college football career elsewhere.

Faison-Walden was a three-star prospect from North Carolina coming out of high school and was recruited by schools such as Georgia, Michigan and Alabama in addition to Penn State.
He was highly regarded as prospect both for his versatility and raw athleticism.
At Penn State, Faison-Walden has struggled to find playing time due in part to injury as well as an apparent struggle to put on good weight. He came to University Park listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds and is currently listed at 207 pounds.
We wish Brelin all the best in his future endeavors going forward.
