It’s all in the books! Penn State has finished the season ranked No. 12 in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Nittany Lions had a slim chance at making a New Year’s Six bowl, but, with Oklahoma making it to the playoff at No. 4, there simply was no room left for a spot.
At 9-3, the Lions have an opportunity to finish with 10 wins for the third consecutive season, matching a feat last accomplished in 1980-82, when the team won 31 games in three seasons, along with its first national championship.
Penn State’s bowl matchup will be announced shortly. Stay tuned to find out who and where the Nittany Lions will end up playing.
