Yesterday Penn State hosted what should be the first of a few “Junior Day” events this winter. I say “Junior Day” in quotes because there were much more than just 2019 prospects visiting, as 2020 and even 2021 prospects made the trek too. Let’s take a look to see who exactly was in town, and which prospects walked away from Happy Valley with offers.

New Offers

2020 DT Cole Brevard (IN)

Penn State joins Indiana, Louisville, and Purdue as schools to offer... Oh, wait a second, Ohio State happens to offer Brevard just hours after visiting Penn State. What are the chances? I am definitely NOT insinuating that Urban Meyer only offered after seeing Penn State did. Nope, no sir, definitely not me.

2020 DB Jordan Morant (NJ)

Morant already held offers from a number of schools, namely Boston College, Michigan, and Virginia Tech. Good size already at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds.

2021 OT Landon Tengwall (MD)

Yes, that is a 6-foot-6, 300-pound 15-year-old. Absolute behemoth of a kid. Long way to go, but should wind up being a big-time prospect. Definitely has five-star potential.

Visitors

Will update this list throughout the morning/day as more visitors are confirmed. Really solid group though. Almost all of the confirmed 2019 visitors are three-stars, but that should change over time. Could see more than half of that list eventually being given that extra coveted star, especially guys like Marquis Wilson, Jakai Moore, and Keaton Ellis.
