Unless the selection committee sees something in Penn State that we don’t, the Nittany Lions will not be amongst the 68 teams to see their name called on the NCAA Selection Show (6:00 PM ET, TBS). That doesn’t mean that we won’t give you, the commentariat an outlet in which to discuss the revealing of the brackets and give your #hottakes as to who’s going all the way (Wahoowa!) or who’s going to pull the big first round upset (South Dakota State, anyone?)
Furthermore, the NIT Selection Show will be airing on ESPNU at 8:30 PM ET tonight, which is when Penn State will find out their seeding and who their first round opponent will be, so this will double as an open thread regarding that.
